Using process data to inform partial credit scoring in interactive assessments
Abstract
Process data has traditionally been used to record events and state transitions to help describe how assessment items were completed. In the ICILS 2023 we are exploring an alternative use for process data that involves capturing salient events as evidence of progress towards a credited solution with the possibility of constructing partial credit scoring categories on the basis of those events.
